Last updated: June 11, 2026. Almanack is built by one person and collects as little as it can. We don’t sell your data.

What we collect

For the free assessment, your quiz answers are processed to compute your result. If you buy the paid reading or recover access, we store your email address, your deeper answers, and your order reference. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email for that purpose only. We derive an approximate country from your request headers for basic analytics — we do not store your raw IP address.

How we use it

To generate and deliver your reading, to let you recover a purchase, to send the emails you asked for, and to keep the service running. That’s it. We don’t sell or rent your personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Service providers

We rely on a few processors to operate: Railway (application & database hosting), Lemon Squeezy and Stripe (payments — your card details go to them, not us), Resend (transactional and newsletter email), and Anthropic (Claude AI) to help write personalized passages of the paid report. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

Newsletter consent

The newsletter is double opt-in: you’re only subscribed after you click the confirmation link in the first email. You can unsubscribe at any time from the footer of any newsletter.

Your rights

You can ask us to access or delete your personal data at any time — just reach out via the contact page and we’ll handle it. Consistent with Vietnam’s data-protection law, email capture is consent-based and never pre-checked.

AI transparency

Some personalized passages in the paid report are assisted by Claude AI. Your answers are sent to Anthropic solely to generate that text and are not used by us to train any model.
